And the best restaurant in the world is …..

worlds-50-bestLast night Restaurant Magazine’s San Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants list was announced in London.  It is always interesting to see the changes in the list and from an Australian point of view, we are always quite underrepresented. However, it is always a glorious night – this time at the Guild Hall which is magical in itself.

Congratulations to Noma in Copenhagen for gliding your way to the top of the list and congratulations to all of the restaurants on the Top 100 list. It certainly would be a hard list to compile from the world stage.

If you have always wanted to eat at Quay or at Tetsuya’s, don’t put it off any longer as I am sure that they will be busier than ever for the next month or two.

Let’s help them get a start on next years list – what would your nomination be for The Best Restaurant in the World?
